Gabi is a Brazilian copywriter with over 15 years of experience across Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe.

She is famous for oversharing memes of questionable taste, quoting Taylor Swift at every opportunity, and colour-coding her pantry.

Yeah, advertising hasn’t made her famous. But here’s some stuff you might find interesting: she holds a
European passport (phew!), is a Cannes Lions See It Be It alumna (that’s actually pretty cool), and teaches at Miami Ad School (which makes her equally humbled, honoured, and terrified).

troublemaking

I'm the co-creator of Fair Lions, an initiative that claimed unbiased rules on the Young Lions competition in Brazil. The non-anonymous and portfolio-oriented selection process was privileging white boys and that sucked.

After making zillions of calls and getting more than one thousand signatures, we finally convinced the organisation to adopt a selection process that we – and more than 50 countries – consider much more trustworthy: crack a brief, submit your idea anonymously, the best one wins.
